Epoxy Flooring
Epoxy flooring is a hard-wearing floor covering that can provide a smooth, cleanable surface that is has impact resistance, chemical resistance, while looking professional and attractive. The high performance of an epoxy floor is the reason why it has become such a popular choice in commercial applications.
During the epoxy flooring installations, the concrete floor will be thoroughly cleaned, and ground down using powerful concrete grinding equipment. Once the concrete is smooth and level, repairs will be made. These repairs are cleaned and blended into the remainder of the floor. Depending on the type of epoxy flooring being installed, a base-coat of resinous epoxy is installed, followed by one to two more coats. Quartz, sand and glass beads are integrated into the floor to provide decorative finishes, as well as providing varying levels of slip resistance.
